This route is ideal for riders wanting a short spin through the town of Mt. Airy. Visit the downtown area and the establishments synonymous with Mayberry including Snappy Lunch and Floyd’s Barbershop. Cyclists will pass the boyhood home of Andy Griffith, as well as the Andy & Opie “TV Land” Statue, before heading out for some scenic views of the Blue Ridge

Mountain Range. There is one rest stop about midway through this ride.
